The song was written by her husband, Sean Eubank. Another song, "Living for Love", reached number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1983. These were Madonna's first two major hits on the US Billboard charts. Other songs on the album include "Come on Over Baby (All I Want Is You)", "Cherish", "Rescue Me", "I'm Still Alive", "People", "I Don't Wanna Talk About It", and "I Just Can't Stop Loving You". Commercial performance The album spent nine weeks at number one on the US Billboard 200 album chart. It was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on June 9, 1985. The album ranked #66 on RIAA's list of best-selling albums in the US for 1984. As of July 2016, the album has sold 7.3 million copies worldwide. The album's success also resulted in the creation of the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay chart. Legacy The album features Madonna's first live performance of her single "Material Girl", which was written for the film Desperately Seeking Susan and used in the movie's closing scene. The song was later recorded by Cyndi Lauper for her first album She's So Unusual and was also a top 40 hit for Lauper in 1983. The album is Madonna's debut in Japan. Madonna also made a live album, Live Aid, at the Wembley Arena in London in 1985. The Power of Good was the album that put Madonna on the map in the United States. Its catchy songs and commercial success on the Billboard chart led to the album's re-releases and further major success. In 1985 Madonna performed "The Virgin Tour" in Europe and the UK, becoming the first artist to release a "live" concert album from the tour, having filmed and produced the shows at Wembley Arena and Brixton Academy. The film was initially aired in May 1986, and the first release of this concert, entitled "The Virgin Tour Live", was recorded from the Brixton show, and subsequently released in November 1987. In 1992, the show from Wembley Arena was also released under the name "The Virgin Tour – Live at Wembley Arena", after being remixed, and the other show of the tour was released a few years later, in December 2000, as "The Virgin Tour Live – LA" with a different name, but having the same set list as the 1992 Wembley show, and most of the 1986 Brixton show. In 2001, the original "The Virgin Tour Live" was re-released with an extra disc (previously released in France in 1989, the Netherlands in 1996, and Brazil in 2000) containing the same concert footage (except for "It's My Life" and "Crazy for You") from the 1986 Brixton concert, recorded directly from the RF video feed, but with a different tracklist. The Brixton show was also released with a slightly different tracklist (except for "Vogue" and "Into the Groove") in 2003, along with a DVD of the complete concert from 1988. In February 2004, the show from Wembley was re-released under the title "The Virgin Tour: Live at Wembley", including the 1987 "The Virgin Tour Live" as a bonus disc. A fourth DVD of the 1980 US concert was also included on this release. The 2007 "The Virgin Tour
